Ivy

Ivy, bedrotten on the hospital bed. Cursed with a longer lifespan in exhange for the weed growing inside her body, there's only so much yet so little time her doctors can keep her alive. A unfortunate breakthough in medicine from a patient living less.

once a bright child whose freedom was slowly taken away from a disease hidden beneath her skin. forgetful little ivy, she learns to face away her pain at the cost of leaving the real world. always late to everything and unable to do what everyone can easily do. she has no choice but to stay behind and contemplate. even the routines her doctors will offer isn't something she can do on her own. she feels utterly useless with no hope to continue. the doctors and her guardian wont let her die though.

it is that childhood she misses everything. the freedom to wander through life, before the plants took her.

Later does her motions become limited and some actions she cant do them anymore. the vines tug on her bones and made sure its painful. every breath is a chance for a horrible ache in her chest to stab her lungs. each step is dizzying. the day she vomitted blood she was sent straight to the hospital. the days follow after that became worse. misdiagnosis, wrong medicines, the vines kept on lashing. she couldn't come home, not anymore.

the rest of her days are resting on a bed she didn't choose. a pain intruding each joint and bones. yet they wont let her go. so she continues to live another day. now in a different building thats apart from the hospital, with people similar to her. but in ivy's opinion, no one will understand her.
